In conjunction with the Clean_Srilanka_programme, a charity program was held on 2025-02-07 with the intention of creating a clean Colonna city as instructed by the Governor of #Sabaragamuwa Province Ms. Champa Janaki Rajaratne.
Kolonna Regional Council, Divisional Secretariat, Medical Officer’s Office, Kolonna Police, Kolonna Primary Hospital, Agricultural Services Office, Electricity Board, Mahaweli Authority – Kolonna Branch, Kolonna Trade Association participated in this program.
Here several programs like removal of waste like plastic polythene left on the sides of the roads, repair of essential street lights, proper arrangement of drainage system on the roads, cleaning of the forest grown on the sides of the roads were carried out.
